Zach Foushee Leads PAC Coast Alum at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

PCGA Offices (Federal Way, WA; February 23rd)- University of Oregon Duck Junior Zach Foushee of West Linn, OR topped the list of Pacific Coast Amateur alumni at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate this past weekend. 

Playing as a member of the talented University of Oregon Duck team, Foushee fired rounds of 71-76-68-215 to finish the tournament in 7th place at one-under-par. Foushee has two Pacific Coast Amateur alums as teammates, Thomas Lim (+2, 15th) and Brandon McIver (+9, T50). 

Other alum in the field that was packed with talented collegiate teams were:

- Jared DuToit - University of Idaho (+1, T10)

- Kevin Murphy - Oregon State (+4, T23)

- Brian Jung - Oregon State (+6, T34)

- Nicholas Smits - Nevada (+15, T87)

Eugene CC Named 2016 NCAA Men’s Championship Venue

Indianapolis, Indiana (January 15th 2015) -- The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Committees have selected Eugene, Oregon (Eugene Country Club) as the host site for the 2016  Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championship.

Host site of the 49th Pacific Coast Amateur Championship, the Eugene Country Club will play host to the NCAA's best student-athletes from May 27-June 1 2016 in an evet hosted by the University of Oregon Ducks Athletics. Congratulations go out to the membership and bid committee on successfully bringing this event to the Pacific Northwest.

Final Round Highlights

Corey Pereira is the 48th Pacific Coast Amateur Champion

Cameron Park, CA native cards  final round 67 to finish the Championship at -19 breaking the lowest gross score record held for 11 years;

Matt Hansen of Los Osos, CA and Lorens Chan of Honolulu, HI finish tied for runner-up

Flagstaff, AZ. (Pacific Coast Amateur)- Corey Pereira showed no signs of final round pressure, posting a three-under 67 en-route to becoming crowned the 48th Pacific Coast Amateur Champion at the Pine Canyon Club.
